Link Love: Aqua Notes, or, why laziness is the mother of efficiency

I get my best ideas in the shower. Or in the bath. I’ve actually done some research about laptop computer trays for the bathtub. Apparently they do not exist… something about “safety” and “electrocution.”

I have considered grease pencil to write on the walls with. (Admittedly, it is easier to use pen & paper in the bathtub than in the shower.Do you not get all your best ideas when there is no possibility of writing them down? Like, on a roller coaster? Or in the shower? Or while you are changing a diaper?

But today, ALL MY PROBLEMS HAVE BEEN SOLVED.

(Except the diaper thing. Sorry.)

Aquanotes, blogged about here by the lovely and charming Penelope Loves Lists, is the solution to all my shower-note-writing problems.

Penelope is a site for organized people. An organized person I am not, despite fooling my co-workers into thinking I was for over a decade. I like to say that “laziness is the mother of efficiency.” That is, I want to do everything the simplest way possible, so that I have more time to read/waste time on Facebook/sew/stare into space.  This is why I put my keys in the same place every day: because I don’t want to waste time looking for them. I’d rather waste time on the interwebs looking at LOLcats or whatever.

But I certainly don’t want to waste time trying to figure out how to write notes in the shower. Not when such a thing as AquaNotes exists.

Big thank you to Penelope and AquaNotes. You made my day.
